CUREs provides numerous development opportunities for students participants. The competition provides a network of resources for mentorship, team creation, education, networking and new venture financing for aspiring social entrepreneurs.
Events are held throughout the year to provide business development, networking, educational, and social opportunities. CUREs also hosts a series of workshops through the club designed as practical seminars related to different aspects of developing a boostrapped, earned-income, non-profit business.
Students participating in the club have access to a panel of advisors composed of business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, academics, international development experts, and many others. In addition, each student team is assigned a mentor.
