Donated equipment and supplies plays a vital role in EWH’s ability to help under-equipped clinics the world over. Without generous donations made by universities, hospitals and manufacturers, thousands of patients in developing nations would have to be treated without devices frequently taken for granted in the first world. Even the most damaged or seemingly out of date surplus can often mean the difference between a healthy recovery and an inoperable condition. Every piece truly makes a difference.
Engineering World Health accepts new, used and even broken equipment. Before being shipped, each piece of equipment is carefully tested and, if necessary, refurbished by one of the many EWH chapters operating in universities across the country.
EWH accepts all medical equipment and supplies with the exception of automated clinical laboratory equipment and damaged imaging equipment.
Small equipment donations can be dropped off at your nearest EWH chapter. Contact info@ewh.org to arrange for a drop off or pick up.
For large equipment donations, please contact Robert Malkin (901-634-2036 or robert.malkin@ewh.org).
