At EWH, it's truly the students that make a difference. By offering a wide variety of programs and projects, we make sure prospective volunteers have a way of getting involved that fits their life. Perhaps you’re a physics, chemistry or engineering undergraduate set afire by the idea of traveling to a foreign country and improving the lives of its inhabitants. The Duke-EWH Summer Institute is perfect for you.
Maybe you’re a graduate or undergraduate student at one of the many outstanding engineering programs around the country, surrounded by skilled and passionate classmates. You can rally your peers by starting a EWH chapter for your university.
If you've already completed the Summer Institute program and want to take your involvement in making a difference to the next level, consider applying for EWH's engineering volunteer position. This is a one-year, full-time position intended for recent graduatets who are taking a year off, perhaps before returning to medical school.
Or maybe you’re not even a college student! EWH offers ways anyone can participate, from high schoolers to trained professionals.
