This year, we welcome 71 students to our Summer Institute programs in Nicaragua, Rwanda, and Tanzania. They hail from around the world, including the United States, Denmark, Canada, Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia. We are especially pleased that this year’s class is 49% women. While they are a diverse group, they share remarkable intelligence and creativity, as well as a common passion for global health and service to others, which will certainly be put to good use this summer!
